Centerline Kids Kung Fu Summer Session

(Ages 8-13)

Summer Session starts July 27th!

Mon. - Fri., 9am - 12pm for two weeks...

Centerline is offering a summer camp alternative that is socially-distanced (6'), with limited enrollment (9 kids per room).  Our mission is to bring students together again, safely in a group setting, so they can learn, interact and have HEALTHY FUN. We will work diligently to promote the health of our staff and the kids by enforcing strict policies surrounding hygiene, temperature monitoring, use of masks, and disinfecting of surfaces.

Throughout the course of this session, existing students will continue their kung fu training, learning a new form, and perform a demo of this form at the end of the 10 days.  Not to mention, daily games and outdoor activities!

New Kung Fu kids will learn what it takes to earn their WHITE SASH, and have the opportunity to be promoted to this rank at the end of the session!

Q: Can my child attend?

A: This summer session is open to ALL kids, ages 8-13.  This includes non-members, and of course our current, former and future Kids Kung Fu students.

Q: What's the cost?

A:  The price is $229 for the 10 day session, but our members pay less (ask about the discount).

We require a $75 deposit to hold your spot, which is refundable if we need to cancel the session.

We also have a few scholarships available, which cover a significant potion of the cost, for families under financial strain.

Q: How will this session ensure proper social distancing?

A: There will never be more than eight students in a room at one time, along with one counselor and one student helper. We will use floor markings to indicate 6' distance, so students can train safely.

Q:  How will you be sure a counselor or student isn't sick while in the studio?

A: We will be taking the temperature of everyone upon arrival. Anyone with a temperature over 99, or anyone who feels physically unwell, will not be permitted to participate that day.

Q: Who will be cleaning and sanitizing the studio?

A: Counselors and student helpers will diligently sanitize frequently-used surfaces, such as bathroom doorknobs, sinks, and the main entrance to Centerline. All participants at the session will contribute to cleanliness by diligently washing their hands, and sanitizing any equipment after use.

We take COVID-19 very seriously at Centerline. It is up to us to make sure everyone in our establishment stays safe. Because of this, we need to monitor session enrollment. If we do not have enough kids sign up by July 6th, we will not move forward with camp. Any deposits made before this date will be refunded in full. If we are forced to cancel camp to support public health, we will offer a future credit for classes or a full refund made at the time of cancellation.  Additionally, in order to monitor enrollment, there may be a waiting list of up to two students at any time.
